Virginia, MIT, and Florida State move up while Kentucky, Pitt, and Swarthmore move down. Duke, Vanderbilt, and South Carolina are replaced by Rochester (first Top 25 appearance in history), Emory (first Top 25 appearance in several years), and Maryland (a Top 25 mainstay returning after a one-year absence). Note that 11 schools appeared on all 15 ballots (which I am pretty sure is a poll record for unanimity) while six others were only missing from one ballot (not the same one). Voters spread their Top 5 votes to only nine schools. No ballot had fewer than 18 of the consensus Top 25, and most had 21 or more. I think these are all good signs. Good work, voters. Next poll will be in late April after the results of College Bowl's NCT (the last of the three academic national titles) have been reported. Results should be up at the GWACC's webapge shortly.
