With question selection for the Division I set of packets for the upcoming NAQT ICT now complete, and set editing nearing completion, I wanted to thank the writers who are contributing to this year's ICT set. I'm not sure that the quizbowl community always realizes how many different people are contributing to NAQT sets these days, virtually all of them veterans of circuit quizbowl play. This year's Division I ICT set is the combined product of 38 different writers, 22 of whom, by my count, have themselves played in one or more of the five NAQT ICTs to date. (Plug: more writers--capable ones, anyway--are always needed, we add several new writers every year, and we've been successful enough that we now pay rather more per question accepted than we used to...) So, on behalf of NAQT's senior editors, thanks for contributing to this year's ICT question set: Craig Barker, Eric Bell, Matt Bruce, Mike Burger, Fred Carpenter, Vernon Davenport, Anthony de Jesus, David Dixon, Jill Fraley, Peter Freeman, Robert Hentzel, Eric Hillemann, Samer Ismail, Willy Jay, Ken Jennings, Guy Jordan, Dwight Kidder, Chad Kubicek, Steve Lange, David Levinson, Robert Linham, Pat Matthews, Chris Mayfield, Chris Nolte, Emily Pike, Suresh Ramasubramanian, Eric Reehl, John Sheahan, Julie Stahlhut, Gaius Stern, Mitchell Szczepanczyk, Eric Tentarelli, Robert Trent, Bill Tressler, Brian Ulrich, Tom Waters, Joe Wright, and Andrew Yaphe. Question selection is not entirely complete yet for the Division II set, but the final list of contributors to that set will doubtless include all or nearly all of the above, plus several of our writers who remain active players and will be playing in Division I at the tournament. Heavy contributors like Ed Cohn, Raj Dhuwalia, and Subash Maddipoti, are sure to have *many* questions in the Division II set, and five or six others are likely to have some. Thanks to all! Eric Hillemann NAQT Chief Editor
