I'm glad to see my post sparked a response. I am, to restate, making
the observation that TRASHionals, as I've realized after having
attended, was extremely difficult compared to other Trash tournaments
I've played in and have enjoyed. Difficult in that there was a level
of obscurity that was to my chagrin beyond me. The frustration does
not stem from, as in maybe 10% of cases, knowing the answer and being
beaten by players clearly better than me. It was lacking the
knowledge to be able to buzz even off the final clue. This was also
in large part, the first time I've had such an experience at a
tournament so it's not a feeling I'm used to. Sure I went to the big
bad national tournament but I went expecting to have fun regardless
of how things turned out. That just didn't happen unfortunately.
Thanks again,
Ross
