Dear community, My undergraduate career [and maybe quizbowl career] is about to end. For the past couple of years, I have maintained a database of tournament contacts and tournament results for the quiz bowl community. I've tried to do my best in providing information and pushing towards standardization of reporting of results so that everybody can see what exactly happened at tournaments they're interested, if only to scope out the competition, or if only they're curious. I'm headed a difficult path in the future that necessitates a decrease in immersion in the quiz bowl community that a maintainer of the tournament database needs. Being unable to actively update or remain "in the know" would do a disservice to those that want the information on the tourcenter on a timely basis. Thus, I have to step aside and let somebody else takeover the job. I'm looking for a skilled webpage designer, an active community member in quizbowl, with reliability to take over this job. You don't have to do many of things I thought I would set out to do, like the Scouting Report, or Tourtools, or otherwise, but if you have ideas, go for it. If you're interested in the job, contact me at: EMAIL: jpaikman_at_... IM: JPaikman I'll be working through the beginning of August on the tourtools website and working on a scouting report of personnel movements through the summer. I will also hopefully taking over the ACF website [coming soon to www.acf-qb.org], keeping up with the PACE website, and editing the Summer Science Masters. People like R. Robert Hentzel, Samer Ismail, David Levinson, H. Haydon Hurst, and Jason Hong are people who volunteer their time to provide the community with something people sometimes take for granted. I'm just following in their footsteps. Sincerely, Jason Paik UAB MSTP or UC-Davis PSTP [which one?]
