We're currently trying to pin down a date for our fall events. We usually have Technophobia in early Nov., and that has seemed to work in the past (except for last year, when turnout was rather low). So at the moment, we're leaning toward 11/16 (the weekend after trash). Does anyone have any input? Is TWAIN going to happen? We're also putting out feelers for conjoining it with our first ever all-sci tournament. We would write packets for a small number of house teams (non-quiz bowl people, but science geeks), but it would otherwise be packet submission with central editing. We realize how hard it is to write science questions, let alone good ones. It would, however, be fun if it got off the ground. Is anyone willing to write packets? How about mirrors? This is a draft distribution. Tournament directors will probably be Kevin Costello for Technophobia and Harris Nover for Technophilia (under the sage direction of Richard and Maribeth Mason, who will not be abandoning us as reported elsewhere). -Jordan History (1) Pre-Renaissance (1) Renaissance-1800 (2) 1800 - 1996 (1) 1996 - Present Conceptual (2) Biology 1.
