I just wanted to thank everyone involved with the 2002 HSNCT at UT-
Austin. This was the largest tournament I've attended since I
graduated high school, and it was quite an experience to help run a
tournament of this size. I took away a lot of tips for my
statistics package, which I expect to integrate into a new version
shortly.
Saturday was definitely a trying day, and those of us in the stat
room saw the epicenter of it all. Nevertheless, we managed to pull
off a power-matched day of play across two buildings and more than
50 teams. Thanks to Chris Romero, David Frazee, M.Z., and everyone
else who helped out behind the scenes. I would also like to thank
everyone at NAQT for their gracious hospitality, and all of the
Texas A&M folks who set up the main building in record time on
Friday night.
I had a great time in Austin, and look forward to a great 2002-03
tournament season.
