Advance warning for teams looking to get funding, and anyone interested in coming along anyway... We will be hosting a completely open tournament in London in January 2003. The schedule currently says Saturday January 18, but this may move either because of our venue or if a good number of teams who would otherwise want to come can't make it - e.g. if we've clashed with someone else. It won't be earlier than this, put it that way! The questions will be British, which will make an interesting change for y'all :) at around NAQT SCT to ICT level. They'll probably seem more like ICT to yous :p Other quick stuff: one day only, not incredibly expensive (probably £40 - c. $60 - before discounts), NAQT-ish-style but the standard British rules [1], open to absolutely anyone, no submission needed. We're expecting to have some pretty good British teams here to prove that we're not the pushovers you all think! Any questions, and especially any expressions of interest or complaints about the date, to rob_linham _at_... . More later in the summer when I have it. Rob. [1] Standard British rules, for the curious: 20 minutes with no breaks, timing not at all as strict as in the US, no recognition, etc. -- Rob Linham: E-mail: rob_linham_at_...
