I'd just like to thank Mike Burger and the rest of the Michigan crew for the Burns this weekend. The format change to the full round robin made the always-difficult bracketing a moot point, and the 15- question games didn't produce as many upsets as I had thought (not that upsets are bad). The packets were great for the most part (it was mine that drew the angry mob, I apologize). Everything ran on time, and the lunch hour was very enjoyable playing the home game of the Match Game. Special thanks to Kevin Olmstead for his hospitality in allowing us to use his centrally air-conditioned basement and large screen TV for the Gameshow round, again thanks to Mike for his work in that department. Also, thanks to Charlie Stenihice for the packet trade, I recommend buying the set just to get the Bonus from the Lee U. team with the covers of the old-school Atari 2600 games. Finally, any trash enthusiasts who have not made the trip for this event, I highly recommend placing it on your calendar in the future, just book your hotel rooms early to avoid the crush of the Frisbee Golf Nationals (I kid you not!). Thanks to all the volunteer moderators who read 15 rounds in an increasingly sweltering building and the whole Michigan contignent for running a great event. Phil Castagna
