- Washington University in St. Louis, a private school in St. Louis, MO.
- The University of Washington, a state school located in Seattle.
- The George Washington University, a private school located in Washington D.C.
There are also a number of high schools named Washington:
- Washington Community, a high school in Illinois
- Washington High School, a high school in Indiana
- Washington High School, a high school in Missouri which hosts the Washington High School Scholar Classic as well as a middle school tournament. [1]
