VHSL Region 6A North

VHSL Region 6A North was a VHSL region in Class 6A, consisting of schools with more than 1927 students located generally in the northern half of the state. It contained Conferences 5, 6, 7, and 8, and was created after the 2014 VHSL Realignment. 6A North was in essence (with a few exceptions) a combination of about half of the former members of VHSL's Class AAA Northern and Northwest Regions. In each of the 4 years of 6A North's existence, its champion always finished as the VHSL 6A State Champion. Following the 2018 VHSL Realignment, Region 6A North will be split back up into regions 6C and 6D.

Conference Champions

The top two teams from each conference tournament advanced to regionals. The winner of each conference tournament received a package of patches for letter jackets.

Mount Vernon moved up from Region 5A North starting after the 2014-15 season and joined Conference 7.
