- At the end of the 2019 season, former Missouri player Charles Dees (then of Columbia) was voted tied for 17th best college player in the nation in an hsquizbowl player poll. Dees was also ranked in some concurrently-run subject polls: 11th in Auditory Arts and 13th in Thought.
- In those same subject polls, Dinis Trindade was ranked 13th best in history.
