User:Alex Dzurick

Alex Dzurick is currently a member of the Illinois ABT and a member of IHSSBCA. In addition, Alex serves as a freelance moderator, statistician and question writer for tournaments locally, regionally and nationally. His elementary-level set, SAGES, launched in 2015.

Most recently, Alex was the secretary of the Missouri Quizbowl Alliance (MOQBA) and vice president of the Missouri Academic Coaches Association (MACA). He also served as the head 6th grade quiz bowl coach and assistant 7th/8th grade coach at South Callaway in 2012-13. Alex is from Fulton, MO, and graduated in 2008, also from South Callaway. His team earned 4th place in the 2006 MSHSAA state tournament. He was formerly a member, treasurer and president of the University of Missouri Quizbowl Club and directed nine tournaments at Mizzou. For 2010-11, Alex served as the Academic Quizbowl Coordinator for ACUI Region 11 and directed the 2011 regional NAQT Sectionals tournament.
