The 2013 NAQT HSNCT was held at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia on May 25-26, 2013. 256 teams attended.

Results

LASA A won against Ladue A in a tense final, in which Ladue powered tossup 23 to bring the score to 440-410. With eight seconds left on the clock and one tossup remaining, the moderator (Seth Teitler) inadvertently declared the game over before discovering that he had skipped tossup 20. After a brief timeout, that was read as tossup 24; LASA got it for 10 points and 30d their bonus to take the championship with a final score of 455-440.

Loyola and St. John's rounded out the final four. Loyola fought its way up to third place after finishing Saturday with a 6-4 record and regaining two players who were absent on Saturday due to graduation, making it the most successful 6-4 team at any HSNCT to date. Macomb won the small school championship.
