The Hyatt Regency Atlanta has hosted a number of quizbowl events including the 2011, 2012, and 2013 HSNCTs. Each year's Saturday overlapped the Official Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, causing a 2013 attempt to adjust the tournament's lunch break to minimize the parade's distracting impact on the tournament. Noise from the parade also permeated in several rooms, as seen in this match.
