Logistics director is the title used for the people at NAQT national championships who are in charge of staff, rooms, and similar matters. The title has also been adopted by organizations other than NAQT.
Although the role has evolved over decades, much of the current notion of logistics direction was developed by Joel Gluskin, who served in that role for many tournaments from the mid-2000s to the mid-2010s. The role has also been taken on at modern-era NAQT national championships by Nathan Murphy, Robert Hentzel, Jonah Greenthal, Jessie Francis, Bernadette Spencer, and Sarah Mauldin.
