Jonah Greenthal is a member of NAQT, for which he does a wide variety of technical work, subject editing (primarily mathematics), set editing (including roughly a dozen national championships), tournament management (including logistics-directing and tournament-directing many national championships), as well as miscellaneous administrative work. His voice can be heard on many NAQT game recordings ("podcasts") from roughly 2014 through 2019.
Jonah developed custom software for various ventures by his former coach David Reinstein, including for running Scobol Solo (which thereby became the first known tournament to track exactly where in questions players buzzed) and Reinstein QuizBowl's ordering system for IESA-style questions. He also helps Reinstein produce the Solo and Masonic question sets, and he used to co-TD the New Trier Varsity tournaments (additionally writing and editing much of it in 2008 and 2009).
His unremarkable playing career was for Chicago (2010–2012), Illinois (2008–2009), and New Trier (2005–2008).
