Jacob O'Rourke is a Senior quiz bowl player and former Vice President of the Truman State Academic Competition Organization. Jacob freelance writes for HSAPQ, and is also a member of MOQBA and staffs several high school tournaments throughout the state, including directing recent events held at Kirksville. Starting in the Fall of 2012, Jacob also began serving as an assistant coach for Kirksville.

Only playing for his senior year of high school in the MSHSAA format, Jacob did not encounter good quiz bowl until his first practice at Truman State University.
