Nick Conder is a graduate student and quizbowl player at Western Kentucky. At the high school level, Conder played for Grayson County (KY) from 2005-2009. His senior year he was captain, and led Grayson County to their first ever appearances at the Kentucky Governor's Cup State Tournament and HSNCT. Conder served as an assistant coach at Grayson County from 2009-2012, and is currently the coach of the Gatton Academy team.
Conder founded the quizbowl team at WKU in 2009 and has appeared on the A team for the last five years. He is generally a decent history player, and is one of the few players in collegiate quizbowl whose best subject is current events.
