Alex Dzurick is from Fulton, MO, and graduated in 2008 from [[South Callaway]] High School in Mokane. He was a four-year varsity letterman in quizbowl. In 2006, his team earned 4th place in the [[MSHSAA]] state tournament. Alex was involved in establishing the March 2008 [[William Woods Academic Tournament]]. Alex is the current president and treasurer of the University of [[Missouri]] Quizbowl Club and has directed the 2008 [[Missouri Fall Academic Tournament]], 2009 [[Tiger Bowl]] I, and 2009 MFAT and will direct the 2010 [[Mort Walker Invitational]], in addition to serving as a moderator for various tournaments statewide. He is a linguistics/sociology double major with a philosophy minor in his second year at Mizzou.

Most recently, he served as the head 6th grade quiz bowl coach and assistant 7th/8th grade coach at South Callaway in 2012-13.
