J.R. Barry (or Rick Barry) is the long-time coach of Brookwood High School. He also serves as the tournament director of the Brookwood Invitational Scholars Bowl, one of the largest quiz bowl tournaments in the country. He is also one of the founders and directors of ACE Quizbowl Camps and the Georgia Academic Team Association.
