Yale University is a private institution located in New Haven, Connecticut.

Each year the club usually hosts two high school tournaments: one in the fall, FAcT (Fall Academic Tournament), which uses NAQT questions, and one in the spring, BHSAT (Bulldog High School Academic Tournament), which is house-written. It also usually hosts two college tournaments every year.

Yale won the NAQT DII ICT in 2002. Though the club grew stagnant for several years thereafter, the emergence of Richard Mason and John Lawrence as strong players, and the acquisition of Stanford veteran Kevin Koai, helped to greatly strengthen it from 2009 forward. The team, led in scoring by Matt Jackson, won several national titles from 2010 to 2014.

Yale's recent national accomplishments include:
-1st place, NAQT ICT Division II (2011); 2nd place, 2013
-1st place, ACF Nationals (2011, 2012); 2nd place, 2013 (to Illinois), 2014 (behind Virginia)
-1st place, NAQT ICT Division I (2013, 2018, 2019); 2nd place, 2014 (to Virginia)
