The French International School of Philadelphia (EFIP) is an independent private school located in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, just outside of the Philadelphia city limits. The school hosts a bilingual educational program in both French and English for grades PK-8.
Quizbowl Program
In 2019, several EFIP students competed (individually) in the National History Bee's middle school regional tournament, where a few students qualified for nationals. In 2021, Alex Dzurick formed a team to compete in online middle school events while teaching at EFIP. In the team's debut event (the Pennsylvania Middle School Academic Tournament), they took 3rd place and had the top overall individual scorer.
