Edmond Memorial is a public high school in Edmond, Oklahoma whose quizbowl program was started in 1988 by former coach Tina Page. Over the course of its more than thirty-year history, Edmond Memorial has been one of the most successful quizbowl teams in Oklahoma, claiming several titles in both the OSSAA and NAQT state championships. In its earlier years, Memorial also claimed national championships at the 1995 and 1996 ASCN Tournament of Champions.

State Championships

Edmond Memorial claimed their first state championship title by winning the 5A Division of the 1993 OSSAA State Championship; they would go on to win again in 1995 and 1996, before again claiming the title in 2002. That same year, they won their first NAQT Oklahoma State Championship by defeating Booker T. Washington, becoming the only Oklahoma team to date to win both championships in the same year. They repeated their NAQT title the following year, and have since won the tournament another two times (in 2009 and 2018), and placed second a further five.

Nationals Performances

Edmond Memorial were the winners of the now-defunct Tournament of Champions in 1995 and 1996, and attended the event regularly until 2003. They have also attended the NAQT HSNCT fifteen times, achieving a best finish of 4th out of 26 in 1999.
