Greg Oppel is the coach at Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, OK. Along with Eric Bell, he co-founded the now-defunct Oklahoma Quiz Bowl Alliance in 2001. He retired from coaching following the 2015 season, but returned in 2022. Under his leadership, Edmond Memorial has won three NAQT State Championships and attended HSNCT ten times.
