Alex Malone is a current member of Gatton Academy's quizbowl team and a former member of Pikeville's quizbowl team. He is currently dual-enrolled at the Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science at Western Kentucky University; through this arrangement he also plays for WKU's collegiate team.
He led under-16s in scoring at the 2013 NAQT ICT, helping secure WKU's 10th place finish in DII.
