The Washington Middle School Academic Tournament is a middle school tournament hosted by Washington Middle in Washington, Missouri. It was first held in 2010 and switched to NAQT sets in 2012. Fall and Spring events were held in the 2012-2013 season. The 2014 tournament was originally scheduled as a winter tournament but was postponed due to weather and renamed as a spring tournament. The 2015 and 2016 events had both middle school and elementary school divisions. The 2016 event was known as the Washington Invitational for Middle School and Elementary Youths (WIMSEY).
