Macomb Rotary

The Macomb Rotary Tournament is a longstanding tournament in Macomb, Illinois sponsored by the Rotary Club. The tournament has been held in January since 1999, and since the mid-2000's has represented one of the top tournaments for downstate schools.

Illinois Rotary Clubs have long been sponsors of quiz bowl, even before the organization of Illinois Scholastic Bowl. The longest of these was the Streator Rotary Tournament which ran for over 50 years between 1964-2013. In western Illinois, the Galesburg Rotary started their own tournament in 1989. However, compared to the later Macomb Rotary, it was usually a smaller affair & drew more local teams.
