Winning team members got $2500 scholarships and rings. Second-place team members earned $1500 scholarships and rings. Third-place team members got $500 and rings. Rings were sponsored by Herff Jones.

Notes
- Illinois set a single-match scoring record with 487 points in the first round. The record was broken two years later by Maryland. Neither 2006 Illinois nor 2008 Maryland advanced to the Final.
- Virginia, which had won three years in a row before their fifth place finish, stopped competing after this year.
