Champions Quiz Preparation

Champions Quiz Preparation was a question supplier formed by veterans of the 1992 Benton High School team in Arkansas. At its peak in 2003, the company supplied questions to the ASCA state championship and grossed around $250,000 a year from about 3000 clients[1]. Company president John James used the profits from CQB to attend medical school and later founded several businesses including an online cowboy boot retailer and several venture capital firms[2]. CQP exited the quizbowl market sometime around 2005.
