Drew Scheeler is a graduate of Case Western where he was a decent-enough academic generalist but developed into a very-strong pop culture player.

During the late aughts, Drew was a core member of the Case Trivia Club alongside Steven Oppenheim, Matthew Hayes, and Steven Wellstead. Drew took over as President after Wellstead's graduation during a period of institutional resistance, culminating in the trivia team losing the right to book rooms for on-campus tournaments after Drew and other team members circumvented a ten-room reservation limit.

Over the next ten years, Scheeler and Oppenheim formed a core duo seen at dozens of trash tournaments, placing highly at assorted ACROYNMs, Super ACRONYMs, and other tournaments, teaming with pop culture specialists like Bob Kilner, Bill Patschak, Ryan Milowicki, and Cari Milowicki. Scheeler, Oppenheim, Jake Sundberg, and Hex Reymann have won multiple video game tournaments. With Oppenheim, Steve Perry, and Steven Kaltenbaugh, Drew defeated a quiz computer to defend humanity at the 2018 QANTA Human-Computer Open. He also has received player poll votes as the top trash player in Canada despite not being Canadian.

Scheeler's question sets include the all-Disney EPCOTT tournament, the all-trash-subjects-except-sports DUSTbowl and editing audio tossups for the fourth Imaginary Landscape. He has crafted Pokemon questions for Jake Sundberg events and still contributes to the annual Ohio high school TRASH tournament produced by Kilner.

Scheeler competes with Charlie Fritz, Dylan Minarik, Colby Burnett, and Amanda Walker in the Online Quiz League as 4 Out Of 5 Cats where they have won multiple championships.

Scheeler won the 2024 Chicago Open Trash tournament playing with Fritz, Minarik, and Andrew Ullsperger. His teams finished third in 2016, second in 2018, and fourth in 2022.
