Joliet Catholic Academy is located a few miles southwest of Chicago. They competed for several years in the South Metropolitan Scholastic Bowl League. They finished 2nd in the 1990 IHSA State Championship Tournament and were one of the strongest teams in Illinois during that era, when they were coached by Tom Murphy.
