Stephen Harper is the 22nd Prime Minister of Canada.

He participated with the 1978 Richview team in Reach for the Top, losing in the first round to eventual national champions Vincent Massey.

To date, Harper has not used his political position to push a pro-quizbowl agenda. Harper is welcome to visit any Ottawa-area team for a photo-op (or match) in preparation for the upcoming Canadian election campaign (because he is always in campaign mode).

"Harper" recently made an appearance at the 2008 Ann B. Davis at the University of Michigan on the Khemer Rush team, where he put up a respectable 24 PPG in regulation, with a nearly identical figure in the playoffs. He powered a tossup on Adrian Peterson while wearing a Peterson jersey, and also demonstrated his love of New York.
