The first edition of the Mid-Atlantic staple, this tournament was held in the fall of 1987 and saw Emory defeat Georgia Tech in the final. NC State finished third, and Ohio State B fourth.

According to a QB Mailing List posting by David Levinson, this tournament featured a field of Emory, Georgia Tech, NC State, Ohio State, Georgetown, George Washington, NYU, Penn State, Florida, UMBC, and Minnesota.
