British HS quizbowl player in junior year (apparently the only current high schooler in the UK who’s heard of online quizbowl) playing for KEGS Chelmsford, a state selective school in the east of England. I have played at the national finals of Schools’ Challenge (University Challenge meets the NAC, biggest and only HS competition in Britain) finishing 6th and 8th as a ‘junior player’ (middle schooler, it’s confusing) and this is my first year as captain , in which KEGS have made the nationals again. Hopefully, this time finishing higher than 6th!
