Since 2015, I have been a member of the Alabama Scholastic Competition Association executive board. I am no longer active as a player, but I frequently moderate and occasionally direct tournaments across the state. As of 2020, I am the President-Elect of ASCA for the 2022-2024 term.

I played for the 54-0 Russellville (AL) Middle School ASCA state championship team in 1996-1997 and Russellville High School from 1997-2001.

I captained Northwest-Shoals Community College to Alabama College Bowl League state championships in 2002 and 2003. I played in the NAQT ICT in those years as well, making the community college all-star team each year.
