The Yaphe-style easy part is an easy bonus part which consists solely of a direct clue and does not incorporate harder material about the answer. The stated rationale for this is to keep the game moving and avoid tempting teams to interrupt the moderator on a bonus, which may occur if the moderator is forced to read more clues after nearly everyone knows the answer. Contrast with McKenzie-style easy part.
