Two of the funniest thing I've seen happened at at Tournament written and ran by Khon Lien. I was playing on a team with Dave Hamilton, Jason Dettelbach, and Khon's 12 year old sister Nancy. Now Khon-hoc, as it is known, is a little unusual. This year it featured a halftime game (like press your luck, wheel of fortune, and price is right) or lightning theme round. During one of the early rounds we were playing against John Nam's team and that round featured a lighting round of given the first name of a boy band member name the band, which of course Nancy knew. Unfortunately Kohn's original rules stated that there was no penalty for guessing and that once a person rang in the question was over, well John and his team decided to use this rule to their advantage and they tried to ring in on every question so that Nancy couldn't get it right. We all thought it was unfair but there was nothing that we could do except try to beat him in. Nancy got royally pissed off and told John off. She told him that he should act his age, and that he was old enough to be her father. All the while everyone in the room was laughing hysterically. The second funniest thing occurred later in the day, when there was question on given a description of MAQT member's feat at Kohn-hoc, name the player and unbelievably Dave, Jason, and I were all able to answer "me" and get the answer correct.
