Some thoughts and/or questions: Hook: Is there a dual tournament for those people having a Y chromosome? Line: Are there enough people lacking a Y chromosome within a reasonable distance of Athens to form anywhere near a useful number of teams? Sinker: Come to think of it, this tournament announcement is a demonstration of everything that went wrong with Title IX. Title IX was originally created to prohibit discrimination based on sex. Its main interpreted focus was to ensure equality in opportunities between the sexes in federally-funded university pursuits, especially athletics. However, in the 1990s it has been interpreted to mean equal outcomes, forcing schools to create or maintain women's teams at the expense of men's teams. Do so, or face monetary shakedowns and/or embarrassment originating from Lawsuit City.
