No, it was a year or two earlier that I first met him, though he was
already legendary from his days with the 70's Emory team of Tom
Waters, Mike Decker, and Lloyd Busch. I was at the 94-95 TIT, though,
where I heard he'd gotten 19 again, and I don't think that's the only
tournament where he came close to achieving a perfect toss-up round.
But I never heard that he achieved it, which is why it wouldn't
surprise me to see him pop up again some day. If anyone can do it,
it's Tom Waters, in any format.
Does anybody know what he's doing now? And what WAS the deal with
those babes/entourage/crew he usually brought with him?
