Boston University would like to announce that Terrier Tussle XII will be held on February 1, 2003. This is a timed packet-submission tournament, and is open to all full-time graduate or undergraduate college students. FEES $100 base fee -$10 for each qualified moderator -$10 for each working buzzer system -$5 for each timer (must be visible to all players) -$10 for each team beyond the first -$10 for traveling beyond the metropolitan Boston area -$20 for packet sent in by early deadline of Jan. 12, 2003 +$5/day for packet sent in after Jan. 19, 2003 $50 minimum fee PACKET GUIDELINES Packets should consist of 25 tossups and 25 bonuses, and should be of a medium difficulty, accessible to all players but not overly easy. There are to be no tossups longer than 6 lines (and most TUs should be under 5 lines), no bonus parts longer than 2 lines, and no bonuses with more than 4 opportunities for team consultation.
