I don't recall hearing any Joyce or Faulkner questions either (at SSI), but I think there was at least one unused round, maybe two. Kevin Comer wrote the vast majority of the questions -- I only wrote the science -- so the lion's share o' compliments go to Kevin on the overall quality of his questions. And while I'm here, congratulations to South Carolina for taking the Div I title in a tough field, and to the masters team of Chris Borglum, Jim Baker, Mark Rupright, and John Mathews, which I believe beat South Carolina in the final match. Congratulations also to Valencia A, FSU B, and Emory B for their excellent showing in Div II. Hopefully next year's tournament will be held in weather significantly above the freezing point of water (in the degree system of your choosing). --Raj Dhuwalia, UF --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, valenciaqbowl <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > Howdy-- > > First, forgive me if this message comes up twice; this seems to > happen on my posts, and I'm not techwise enough to know why. > > Anyway, much thanks to Kevin Comer and the rest of the UF folks who > ran the SSI.
