I don't think anyone cared for the acting bonus > questions; I didn't even understand what was required at first. Just a quick note about these: Every year Elvis strives to include one so-called "fun question" in each packet. This year, a lot of these ended up involving acting stuff out. At Elvis, such questions are expected, and I had to apologize to a couple of teams that questioned why they weren't in every round. I recognize they do not fit the needs and philosophy of every tournament, but since stuff like that is in our packets every year, I presume TD's know they're coming and can replace them with stuff from the other three tournaments-worth of questions if they so desire. I also admit there were some production problems with Elvis questions this year, some our fault, others not. (The computer system was down in the dorms for several days around the weekend before the event, for example.) Hence, the 19-question packet was not because of repeats, but because a couple of European history questions hadn't been written when I sent them - presumably the place in the packet where they were to go was where Ed added the Frederick Wilhelm and Agrippina questions, which I'm fairly sure weren't in our set. I also admit I did not do enough to examine the science and pop culture questions, which are subjects about which I know little in terms of difficulty judgements and so on. We apologize for these and other inconveniences we caused to other tournaments. Brian
