FWIW, Emory did not go undefeated in the playoffs; they lost to us in
the last game by 55 points. It's also worth noting that Michigan B
left because it had to catch a flight, so the middle and bottom
brackets got screwed up a bit. Middle-bracket teams from bracket A
benefitted from having a ninth-place team to play instead of either
Michigan B, Harvard, or both, whereas lower-bracket teams from
bracket A had only the two teams in bracket B with the worst records
to play, so teams from bracket A ended up with an easier playoff
schedule, hence the lopsidedness.
