Update on UGA Tournament by the Sea 3-6-04

I know this is still months away, but we've scored a coup in terms of 
hotel rooms. Although it is not official as of today (we make the 
call on Monday) the official hotel for UGA's Tournament by the Sea 
will be the Days Inn Jekyll Island, located a short walk from the 
site of the tournament, the Jekyll Island Convention Center. The 
hotel is offering 20 Oceanside Rooms for $82 a night plus tax. Yes, 
you read that right: OCEANSIDE rooms for $82. You cant get a room for 
that rate that looks over the Atlantic for that time of the year.

As soon as I get the info on the rooms, I will send it to yall. 

More upates as to the format:

1- There will be a music round similar to K-tel Hell, except we're 
calling it Time/Life Strife. Music will be more mainstream from the 
last 60 years. 

2- The mini-golf tournament (which is still optional) is looking very 
good. The golf course has a grou rate, which is unknown to us as of 
press time, but Im sure we can score one. 

3-So far, the schools that showed interes are:  UGA alums (Franklin, 
Johnson, et.al.), South Georgia, ABAC and Alabama. Like I said, it's 
still months away, but I still looking forward to hosting this. Right 
now I can still take seven teams.

I shall keep you all posted, coming soon....fees and packet 
requirements.
