Aggie Bowl 2003 Update

Within the last week, it has come to the attention of the Texas A&M Academic League that rumors had been spreading concerning Aggie Bowl. As some of you know, Aggie Bowl is our annual high school tournament and this year's edition has been scheduled for November 22nd. Apparently, someone masquerading as a member of our team has been contacting high school coaches in the area and telling them that the tournament has been cancelled. This is simply not true. We have 12 teams registered already, and are expecting at least two more schools to enter this week. We have questions, rooms, and staff for the tournament. Aggie Bowl 2003 will happen on A&M's campus on November 22nd. Please note that any official communications regarding Aggie Bowl will be made only by myself, Alex Metcalf, or the president of our organization, Rachel Campbell. Anything you may receive from Chris Romero, Candace Benefiel, or anyone else is in no way endorsed by the Texas A&M Academic League. I sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused and hope to see as many teams as possible in College Station in two weeks.

Alex Metcalf
Vice President
TAMU Academic League
