People so far signed up as of this post: Adam Schiable Steve Perry Sam Bennett Vikram Vaz Josh Levit If you are still interested, I'll keep the participation open until next Tuesday. Back to previous Rule #1: "You will eventually choose 6 players. A 'salary cap' will be in place to prevent teams from stocking up on highly desired players." Right now, I propose the following "salary cap", which is really a "points cap": Based on NAQT individual statistics at http://www.naqt.com/Results/2000-sct-results.html (and yes, I know it includes power tossups) or whatever numbers were published on the mailing lists, your combined team of 6 cannot exceed 150.00 PPG. When submitting your team, please include the PPG as listed by NAQT or Sectional TD's. For the moment, I will presume that you're being honest with your team roster (since there's no money or prizes involved with this). Submit as follows -- EXAMPLE: Emil Thomas Chuck TEAM MEMBERS (only examples, not my own team for this contest): Mike Angel (Illinois, 13.46) Ezekiel Burdichevsky (Michigan, 23.85) Gail Celio (Georgia, 15.77) Jessie Connally (Maryland, 20.42) Rebecca Fairweather (Michigan, 9.14) Kelly McKenzie (Kentucky, 66.92) TOTAL = 149.56 Another honorable mention will be given to the person whose team is the "cheapest," yet performs better than expected. I'm not sure exactly how I'll do that just yet, but I'll do my best. Team rosters will be due WEDNESDAY so I can make the appropriate spreadsheets at work. :) --- etc.
