My thanks to USF for hosting the Sun-n-Fun tournament. Contrary to Jeremy's post, I honestly didn't notice many repeats, no more than a couple. Nor was I particularly mighty on Saturday, but I appreciate the thought. The tournament could/should have run a bit more quickly, and a couple of rounds were a bit difficult for the level of the tournament, but otherwise everything seemed fine to me. Congrats to USF A on winning the tournament. In general, I certainly don't think there's anything wrong with winning your own tournament. Running the tournament should take priority, and it did for the USF players; USF A played as a 1-man team for most of the day, then went to 3 during the playoffs when more people became available to read. Congratulations also to Stetson on the high finish. --Raj Dhuwalia, UF --- In quizbowl_at_yahoogroups.com, jeremycec <no_reply_at_y...> wrote: > Thanks to all 18 teams that participated in Saturday's 5th annual > spring break Sun 'n Fun Quiz-in at the University of South Florida. > I really appreciate everyone coming and hope you had a good time.
