Greetings, everyone! The following is the first announcement for the 2004 ACF Fall Southwest Tournament, to be held at the University of Tulsa on Saturday October 30th. Fees and Discounts: Base Fee: $100 Additional Teams: $80/each Functioning Buzzer Discount: -$5 (limit 2 per school) Volunteer Discount: -$10 (only if we use them) Travel Discount: -$5/per 75 miles (max of -$30) ACF Virgins: -$10 (per team) Minimum Fee: $60 (per team) The tournament will take place in Chapman Hall on the TU campus, with registration starting at 8:30am, followed by a short team meeting at 9:00am. I hope to start matches by 9:15am. Maps and driving directions will be sent upon registration, as well as hotel listings, if anyone needs them. Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 teams from both Divisions I and II, as well as to the top 10 (or so) individuals. Upon registration, please indicate to me how many teams you will be sending, as well as buzzer systems and volunteers, in addition to classification. Division II is for teams entirely composed of first and second year players. Packet Deadlines: September 24th: -$15 for full packets (-$10 for novice) October 4th: No penalty October 11th: +$20 for full packets (+$10 for novice) October 18th: +$40 for full packets (+$20 for novice) Lastly, if you would like to attend the tournament but are unsure about finances, please e-mail me, and we can discuss it.
