Kickboxer Classic results

7 teams came to Princeton for the Kickboxer Classic on November 6,
2004. Prelims featured a single RR, which resulted as such:

1. Columbia A, 6-0
2. Maryland A, 5-1
3. Princeton, 3-3 (Head to head advantage)
4. Swarthmore, 3-3
5. Columbia B, 2-4
6. Maryland B, 1-5 (Head to head advantage)
7. Rutgers-Newark, 1-5

Afterwards, the top 4 teams and bottom 3 teams were bracketed, and
each played a double RR within their bracket, with finish based on
overall record for the day, followed by H2H results, then point
differential in relevant H2H matches. Final standings were:

1. Columbia A, 9-3
2. Swarthmore, 8-4
3. Maryland A, 8-4
4. Princeton, 4-8
5. Columbia B, 5-5
6. Rutgers-Newark, 4-6
7. Maryland B, 1-9

Scoring awards went to the top 3 individuals from prelim stats, who
were as follows (prizes they took in parentheses):

1. Chris, Swarthmore, 52.50 (Arabian Nights stories)
2. Shah, Rutgers-Newark, 41.67 (3 Garcia Lorca plays)
3. Jordan, Princeton, 40.83 (nothing, as a result of being a house
team player)
4. Wren, Swarthmore, 36.67 (Irving's A Prayer for Owen Meany)

Thanks to all the teams who came out, and thanks to all the Princeton
people who helped staff. Thanks to Chris Romero, Mike Sorice, Seth
Teitler, and Leo Wolpert for providing quality freelance packets on
such short notice. Thanks to Dan Benediktson for helping with editing,
and also to Eric Kwartler and Matt Nance of Texas for providing
substantial assistance with the process.

Kickboxer packets will be available for trade as soon as I get the
chance to look over them again and polish them up in terms of
formatting and spelling/grammar. Any comments or feedback is
appreciated, and I hope everyone who came enjoyed the tournament and
will consider going to future Princeton tournaments.
