I too would strongly recommend SQBS over any spreadsheet macro. The
existence of SQBS is why it's been years since I updated or supported
anything I've written. (Those of you who do still use Stats99 - you
know who you are - I deeply appreciate it but the program is obsolete.
Make your way to http://www.stanford.edu/~csewell/sqbs/ ASAP.)
Echoing Jim Puls, I'd say you should use LiveStat if you:
1. Don't have Windows (or have Windows but loathe it)
2. Like the speed gain of a command-line interface
3. Are comfortable learning arcane (though clever) commands
4. Have the patience and code skill to work through a bug or two
If the above don't apply then you should use SQBS.
